Thank you for visiting Picture-it-in-Glass. Original art work is a wonderful enhancement to your home or office, and it makes cherished gifts that last a lifetime. Glass and crystal are an especially eye catching and elegant form of art work, when etched, carved, or built into a stained glass piece.
The applications for etched or carved glass and crystal are limitless: Hanging Panels, Freestanding Pieces, Desktop Mementos, Windows, Mirrors, Doors (cabinets, interior, and entry), Shower Enclosures, Glass Walls, and the list goes on and on. Etched windows and doors provide not only artistic beauty, but privacy when needed without obscuring light. Etching and carving can also diffuse intense light and eliminate the need for other types of window treatments. Stained glass can provide many of the same qualities as well as add color. Many of my projects combine all three techniques.

Large or architectural projects, i.e., doors, showers, installed windows, are by Building Code requirements made of tempered glass. A misconception is that it cannot be etched….it can and you will see pictures in my gallery that demonstrate the striking effects that can be achieved. These projects can be done on-site (only in the Colorado area), shipping arrangements can be made for others. All woodworking is also done in-house; framing, bases, stands, and shadowbox display cases. Only the best hardwoods (as selected by you) are used, custom built for the project and finely hand finished.

Each project is an original, one-of-a-kind piece. Pricing is based on size, complexity of design, and materials. Payment arrangements can be made and a portfolio of complete work can be viewed. Glass art is great for gift giving…Graduations, Retirements, Anniversaries; any special memory can be captured in glass.
